<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus which simultaneously performs high-sensitivity and low-sensitivity imaging and efficiently records obtained pixel data. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera 10 applies sensitivity correction to low-sensitivity pixel data according to operation at an operation section 120 of a low sensitivity discriminating unit 88 during recording in RAW mode, supplies the data to a data discriminating section 116, generates map data of respective pixels by comparing a multiplication result 132 supplied at the data discriminating section 116 with high-sensitivity pixel data 134, reduces pixel data in accordance with an embedding condition for set fundamental data and the map data, and records recording data generated by the reduction, map data 138 and the high-sensitivity pixel data 134. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
