<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device in which video recording reservation after un-mounting of a recording medium also can be performed normally by automatically mounting the recording medium with a fixed condition, even when explicit mount indication for the recording medium is forgotten by a user for some reason or other after the recording medium is unmounted by indicating removal of the recording medium with the intention of interchanging the recording medium by the user, in a recording device having an interchangeable recording function for the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: When the user receives such indication that the user interchanges an HDD, an incorporated HDD is unmounted from a file system (step S307). After that, even when clear mounting indication for the recording medium by the user is not performed, the recording medium is automatically mounted on the file system with the prescribed condition, and a program is recorded in the incorporated HDD when a time reaches to a timer video recording time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
