PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device and a storage medium for surely preventing leakage of privacy information due to leakage of personal biometric information even if reliability of data management is insufficient when personal authentication using biometric information is carried out. SOLUTION: This authentication device is provided with a measurement means measuring personal biometric information, a means extracting feature information after performing predetermined conversion processing on the biometric information or performing predetermined conversion processing after extracting the feature information from the biometric information for finding converted biometric information, and a collation means comparing previously registered registration information with the converted biometric information for performing personal authentication.
