<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for suppressing power consumption even when executing print processing to a print job related with a print request by an image reading device. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus is provided with: an I/F part 201 for receiving a print job transmitted from the image reading device 10; a printing part 203 for executing print processing to the print job received by the I/F part 201; and a control part 205 for, when the print processing to the print job is ended by the printing part 203, shifting the printing part 203 from a printable state to a power saving state without being constrained to power saving shift time information showing a preliminarily set timing for shifting the printing part 203 from the printable state to the power saving state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
