PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member fastening implement with excellent strength, which can also adapt to a large-scale building, and which can be used in a general-purpose manner without depending on an angle of inclination of the top of each of a pair of ascending beams arranged in an opposed state, when the tops of the ascending beams are connected together. SOLUTION: A shaft 21 is inserted into upper end surfaces of the pair of ascending beams Ha and Hb, and put into an immovable state by driving a fixing pin 25; a main fitting 11 is fitted into engaging grooves 52 of the ascending beams Ha and Hb; and subsequently, a connecting pin 24 is driven into the ascending beams Ha and Hb, so that the main fitting 11 and the shaft 21 can be integrated together. Thus, since the two ascending beams Ha and Hb are integrated together, a load can be borne in the range of the embedment of the shaft 21; and an excessive load does not act on the periphery of the connecting pin 24. Additionally, an auxiliary fitting 31 is easily assembled via a through-hole 16 etc. , and ridge beams Ma and Mb can be short enough to have only to connect the adjacent ascending beams Ha and Hb together.
