PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anionic electrodeposition coating material which is applicable to aluminium materials, gives good coating film appearance and coating film properties, and is excellent especially in abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: The anionic electrodeposition coating material comprises (A) a vinyl copolymer provided by copolymerization ofα,β-ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer, hydroxy-containingα,β-ethylenic unsaturated monomer and otherα,β-ethylenic unsaturatedd monomers, and having an acid number of 10-150 KOHmg/g-resin solid content, a hydroxy value of 20-200 KOHmg/g resin solid content and a weight average molecular weight of 10,000-100,000, (B) an amino resin, and (C) a water-dispersible wax having an average particle diameter of≥0.3μm but≤10μm, wherein 0.1-1.5 pts.wt. wax is contained in 100 pts.wt. total of the (A) vinyl copolymer and the (B) amino resin.
