The invention relates to medicine, in particular, to traumatology and orthopedics and permits to achieve a reliable fixation of an implant in bone tissue both initially and remote period, as well as to provide a sound union of porous surface of the cup with humans bone tissue due to design features of the prosthesis and providing stable conditions for microcirculation of physiological liquid in the contact zone of the porous coating and the bone tissue of the cotyloid cavity and deep invasion of the bone tissue in the porous coating of the cup for the whole volume of the porous coating. The porous coating is made from pressed porous blocks of foamed pure titanium and is shaped as a hemispherical dome with wall thickness being at least 2 mm, the porous coating is fixed on the outer hemispherical surface of the hip prosthesis cup by press-fitting into an annular groove in the cup lower part. A relief as concentric or helical grooves 05-15 mm deep is applied on the hemispherical cup surface.
