<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent technique for lowering a blood glucose level. <P>SOLUTION: It was obtained as a new knowledge that the joint use of a lactic acid bacteria fermentation product of a balsam pear and a magnesium salt helps lower a blood glucose level. Consequently, a saccachrometabilism improver and/or a visceral fat reducing agent contains the lactic acid bacteria fermentation product and a magnesium salt (preferably a magnesium oxide). Furthermore, preferably the saccharometabolism improving agent and/or the visceral fat reducing agent is mixed with a mulberry leave extract.
