ELECTRIC POWER STEERING CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering control device capable of attaining high responsiveness in the steering state that the high responsiveness is required.

SOLUTION: The electric power steering control device is provided with a torque sensor 1 for detecting steering torque by a driver of the vehicle; a vehicle speed sensor 2 for detecting a vehicle speed of the vehicle; a motor 3 for generating assistant torque for assisting the steering torque; a rotation speed sensor 5 for detecting the rotation speed of the motor 3; a current detector 4 for detecting a drive current energized to the motor 3; a target current operation part 7 for operating the target current relative to the motor 3 based on at least the steering torque; and a target current attenuation part 8 for attenuating the target current and outputting the target current after attenuation. The target current attenuation part 8 attenuates at least a high frequency component of the target current according to at least one of the vehicle speed and the rotation speed.
