PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system including a PC 7 connected with a peripheral device 5 by a KB interface 4, capable of performing control of a different peripheral device 5 without changing a KB driver 3 provided by an OS 2. SOLUTION: The system comprises a command transmission part which decomposes command data for controlling the peripheral device to parameter data of a KB function, and transmits the decomposed data as KB function data with a predetermined code to the PC that is a host device; and a response receiving part which receives and restores response data decomposed to the KB function data from the peripheral device. The peripheral device includes a command receiving part which restores the command data transmitted as the KB function data from the host device, and a response transmitting part which decomposes the response data to the parameter data of the KB function, and returns the decomposed data with a predetermined code as the KB function data.
