PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system for visualizing boundaries of a subject with a low X-ray absorption rate clearly and easily, and for acquiring photographed images of high visibility. SOLUTION: The imaging system 1 is equipped with an X-ray tube 2 for emitting X rays and an X-ray detector 31 for recording a radiographic image corresponding to a dosage of X rays emitted from the X-ray tube 2 and performs phase contrast imaging. When a distance from the X-ray tube 2 to a subject H is R1, a distance from the subject H to the X-ray detector 31 is R2, an X-ray tube voltage of the X-ray tube 2 is V, and a focus diameter is D, conditions expressed as 0.10 m≤R1, 0.70 m≤R2, 25 kVp≤V≤40 kVp, and D≤150μm are satisfied. The X-ray detector 31 satisfies the condition of MTF characteristics expressed as MTF≥0.5 in case of 2 lp/mm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
