The invention relates to a method for preparing a treatment machine for treating a medical fluid, said machine comprising a coupling surface with actuators. According to the invention, a cassette consisting of a hard part with fluid-conducting channels that are covered by a flexible film can be coupled to the coupling surface of the treatment machine in such a way that the actuators can control the fluid flow in the fluid-conducting channels by depressing the flexible film into the cassette. After the setting up of the treatment machine and prior to the start of treatment, the machine is switched to a stand-by mode, in which the actuators are moved alternately in order to relieve the pressure on the flexible film. Said stand-by mode prior to the start of the treatment permits, for the first time, the time-consuming setting up of the treatment machine to be completely separated from the treatment itself. The invention also relates to a corresponding treatment machine comprising a controller for carrying out the method according to the invention. |
