The system has four load carriages (6) movable on track sections. The load carriages include skid/runner sets crossing each other. The track sections (3-5) include rail sets (9-14) crossing each other. The rail sets are connected with each other by a track height adjuster. Eccentric tappets are engaged at the track height adjuster. The load carriages are used for accommodating elongated loads such as containers, pallets or motor vehicles. The track sections are used for loading and unloading the load carriages in a storage.
