A motor controller comprises a first pulse width modulation circuit for repeatedly outputting an ON signal at the frequency of a first carrier frequency, a second pulse width modulation circuit for repeatedly outputting the ON signal at the frequency of a second carrier frequency lower than the first carrier frequency, an AND-circuit for inputting an ON signal column of a first pulse width modulation circuit and an ON signal column of the second pulse width modulation circuit and outputting a third ON signal column which is the logical product of the ON signal columns described above, and a voltage applying circuit for intermittently applying a voltage to the motor in synchronization with the third ON signal column outputted by the AND-circuit, and is characterized in that at least one of the first carrier frequency and the second carrier frequency is 1 kilohertz or less or 3 kilohertz or more. This provides the suppression of an uncomfortable noise of a motor controller using two pulse width modulation circuits.
