摘要 A gate driving circuit and a liquid crystal display including the same are provided to ensure a process margin by reducing a size of a switching element or removing the switch element. A gate driving circuit includes a plurality of stages. Each stage includes first to third nodes, a pull up driver(211), a pull up unit(213), a carry output unit(214), and a pull down unit(212). The pull up driver receives a start signal or a carry signal of other stage and outputs a control signal to the first node. The control signal has a first voltage level during a preparation period, a second voltage level higher than the first voltage level during a gate active period, a third voltage level lower than a second voltage level during a first gate inactivate period, and a fourth voltage level lower than the third voltage level during a second gate inactive period. The pull up unit receives the control signal and the clock signal during the gate active period and outputs a gate-on signal to the second node. The carry output unit receives the control signal and the clock signal during the gate active period and outputs the carry signal to the third node. The pull down unit receives the carry signal and a gate-off signal of other stage and outputs the control signal which pulls down the third voltage level to the fourth voltage level during the second gate inactive period, to the first node.
