<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce a frame region in a back-light equipped with a hot-cathode fluorescent lamp. <P>SOLUTION: The back-light 100 equipped with the hot-cathode fluorescent lamp 10 comprises the hot-cathode fluorescent lamp 10 having a bulb 12, the base 50 installed at the end of the hot-cathode fluorescent lamp 10, and a socket 40 connected to the external terminal 52 of the base 50. In the back-light 100, the external terminal 52 of the base 50 extends in a direction approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal direction 92 of the bulb 12 (for example, the direction reverse to the screen direction 90), and the external terminal 52 is held by the main body 51 of the base 50 so as to be slidable along the longitudinal direction 92 of the bulb 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
