PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for taking out a cast strip in continuous casting facilities, which apparatus can simplify the structure of a pinch roll unit, and can arrange the pinch roll unit in a narrow space, and can absorb the difference of the diameters of pinch rolls, and can use the pinch rolls having substantially the same diameter without providing the difference of the diameters of the pinch rolls in the apparatus for taking out the cast strip, wherein the apparatus is arranged in the curved region of a cast strip guiding passage. SOLUTION: The driving apparatus 2 of the apparatus 1 for taking out the cast strip includes a motor 3 with a speed reducer, which motor is composed of the speed reducer and the motor and has a speed reducer casing and a motor casing integratedly assembled, and a universal spindle 4 for transmitting the driving power of the speed reducer to the pinch rolls, wherein a plurality of the motors 3 with the speed reducer for independently driving a plurality of the pinch rolls respectively are three-dimensionally arranged by attaching the motors to motor mounting means 8.
