PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an optical effect of a photocatalytic toothbrush is conventionally limited to one-surface transmitting part and has no expanding effect for the entire mouth. SOLUTION: A light transmitting material (transparent plastics) is used for a light emission part of a main body and for a replaceable brush part, with a light transmitting hole provided for the replaceable brush part. As a result, the photocatalytic effect is not limited to an antibacterial-polishing effect by contact between the teeth surface and the brush part, but is effective in cleaning an extensive area inside the mouth with a titanium oxide-mixed tooth paste and a photocatalytic reaction.
