PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental composite resin excellent in adhesion to dentin and bonding materials. SOLUTION: The dental composition comprises a polymerizable monomer (A) having a nonconjugate carbon chain comprising four or more successively bonded carbons, two or more polymerizable groups and two or more hydroxy groups. In one preferable embodiment, the dental composite resin comprises 5-70 pts.mass polymerizable monomer (A) and 5-70 pts.mass crosslinkable and polymerizable monomer (B) in 100 pts.mass total of the polymerizable monomer ingredients, and also contains 0.1-10 pts.mass polymerization initiator (E) and 80-900 pts.mass filler (G) based on 100 pts.mass total of the polymerizable monomer ingredients.
