<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security in a system having a computer and semiconductor memory. <P>SOLUTION: In a computer system 1, a memory card 3 transmits a pre-encrypted address 91 and an address issuance driver 92 to a computer 2. When accessing a memory array 32, the computer 2 specifies the encrypted address 91 needed by the address issuance driver 92 acquired from the memory card 3, and issues the specified encrypted address 91 to the memory card 3. Further, a decryption circuit 31 generates a normal address for specifying a location in the memory array 32 based on the encrypted address 91 issued by the computer 2.
