PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hairdye facilitating hair-dyeing operation and providing high dye affinity even being the highly safe hairdye obtained by using an extract of a plant-originated component extracted from Rhaphiolepis umbellata as a main hairdye component. SOLUTION: A satisfactory hair-dyeing result cannot be obtained by conventional examination of a hairdye using only the Rhaphiolepis umbellata as the hairdye component. As a result of further zealous examination, the hair-dyeing effects unexpectedly superior to those of the conventional hairdye using only the Rhaphiolepis umbellata are obtained now by using a specific plant-originated component in combination therewith. The hairdye containing the plant and the component originated from the plant as the main components, facilitating the hair-dyeing operation and having very high dye affinity and safety is provided by using the result.
