<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure for an optical cable connection by which a security information collection system intended for a wide area can inexpensively be constructed. <P>SOLUTION: The closure 11 for optical cable connection mounts an optical cable housing section 15 inside a case body 13, the housing section connecting coated optical fibers to each other in an aerial style, wherein the case body 13 is equipped with a photographing apparatus 26 inside, the apparatus for photographing outside through a window 24 formed in the case body 13.
