PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television broadcast receiver capable of recognizing beforehand whether there is a possibility that content viewing is interrupted in the middle of the content viewing and preventing the content viewing from being interrupted halfway when a user views his/her desired content. SOLUTION: A digital television receiver 1 is provided with an input video switching control part 15, a viewing reservation storing part 17, a viewing reservation notifying part 22 and a viewing reservation notification determining part 23, wherein the viewing reservation notification determining part 23 determines whether a remaining time till a viewing reservation time is within a predetermined time when input video switched by the input video switching control part 15 is the one other than a broadcast program and also when there is a viewing reservation, and the viewing reservation notifying part 22 notifies at least either the viewing reservation time or the remaining time till the viewing reservation time when the viewing reservation notification determining part 23 determines that the remaining time till the viewing reservation is within the prescribed time.
