<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact needle which can apply an ideal invasive stimulation onto the skin without invading into the skin when it is brought into contact or pressed onto the skin nor causing it to be broken or bent. <P>SOLUTION: In the contact needle, a number of protruded parts 7 are formed on one side 5 of a base plate 3 being integrated with it. Each of the protrusions is elastic and has almost an cylindrical top part 11 formed on its base part 9 and the top part has a flat top surface 13 almost parallel with the one side of the base plate while the side 15 of the top part is vertical to the one side of the base plate. The base part makes a curved line hollowed inward as an outline 17 in a central longitudinal sectional view while being made roughly circular with its diameter gradually growing larger toward the one side of the base plate from the top part in a transverse sectional view. This causes each of the protruded parts to oscillate in the direction almost parallel with the skin when the contact needle is brought into contact or pressed onto the skin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
