PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire performance test-use rotating drum which is lightweight, has a small inertia moment, realizes a short maximum speed arrival time and can carry out a sudden acceleration test and a sudden braking test, and to provide a tire performance testing system using the same. SOLUTION: In the tire performance test-use rotating drum A, the rotating drum is made of a fiber reinforced plastic (carbon fiber reinforced plastic), and a metallic ring-shaped honeycomb core 3 is embedded in its outer circumferential part. A reinforcing ring-shaped cap 4 is mounted on the outer circumference side of the metallic ring-shaped honeycomb core, and a high-friction material 4a is stacked on the outer circumference side of the reinforcing ring-shaped cap.
