<p>[PROBLEMS] An air cycle refrigeration system can produce cryogenic cooling air of minus several tens degree, but frosting is most problematic. In an air cooling system producing cryogenic air, a means performing defrosting easily and automatically is provided. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] In an air cooling system comprising a compressor (1), a heat exchanger (6), an expansion machine (3), and a defroster (4) for removing frost in cooling air when the cooling air from the expansion machine (3) is supplied to a cooling object space (7), the defroster (4) has a filter portion (4b) which sections a first space on the expansion machine (3) side and a second space on the cooling object space side. The filter portion (4b) is arranged to be deformed, in case of clogging due to adhesion of frost, by pressure difference between the first and second spaces which are closed spaces and pressure of which can be raised by cooling air discharged from the expansion machine (3) and to be recovered when there is no pressure difference. Frost adhering to the filter portion (4b) is removed by the impact of deformation or recovery.</p> |
