<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a fault detection protocol so as to handle a case that a fault detection request to the same aggregated link is different by each routing protocol. <P>SOLUTION: A fault detection protocol for each of individual physical links forming the aggregated link is executed, and while discriminating between a case that a fault is generated in communication of the whole aggregated link and a case that a fault is generated in a part of physical links forming the aggregated link, the detected fault is reported to a master application (e.g. routing protocol) which is a channel fault monitoring request source of a communication path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
