摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic encoder which can enhance adhesion of multipolar magnet with mandrel to prevent magnetic property of the multipolar magnet from degradation due to its separation. SOLUTION: The multipolar magnet 14 with magnetic poles alternately-formed in circumferential direction is integrally adhered to steel plate pressed mandrel 11, producing the magnetic encoder 20. This multipolar magnet 14 is an elastic member inmixed with magnetic material powder, plastic, or sintered magnet. Surface roughness of bonding face 11ba on the mandrel 11 adhering the multipolar magnet 14 shall be Ra 0.8 or more. This bonding face 11ba is treated to be surface roughened by shot blasting, etc. This magnetic encoder 20 can be used as, for example, parts which compose sealing device in wheel bearing of a car.
