PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver having two tuners, wherein channel selection is performed at high speed. SOLUTION: It is judged first whether a channel selection of a first tuner is on an upper or lower side among services in a TS and when the channel selection is on the upper side, it is judged whether the current position of a second tuner is within a TS above the TS of the first tuner. When YES, a channel selection position of the tuner 2 is maintained, but when NO, the second tuner is moved to a TS below the TS of the first tuner and the processing is ended. When the channel selection of the first tuner is on a lower side among services in the TS, it is judged whether the current position of the second tuner is within the TS below the TS of the first tuner. When YES, the channel selection position of the second tuner is maintained, but when NO, the second tuner is moved to a TS below the TS of the first tuner and the processing is ended.
