PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission line that enables stable bidirectional optical transmission by using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The optical transmission line 4, enabling bidirectional optical transmission, has at least two core parts 11a, 11b comprising a material having translucency and a cladding part 12 comprising a material having a refractive index different from that of the core parts 11a, 11b and is configured to make the light emitted from a light-emitting part 6 guided through light incidence faces of the core parts 11a, 11b into the core parts 11a, 11b and exit to the outside from exiting faces of the core parts 11a, 11b. The light incidence face of the first core part 11a together with the light exit face of the core part 11b different from the first core part 11a, and the light exit face of the first core part 11a together with the light incidence face of the core part 11b different from the first core part 11a, are disposed on outer faces mutually different from each other in the outer faces forming the optical transmission line 4.
