PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire vulcanizing method which can make a tire vulcanizing device compact by dispensing with a lifting function for a tire withdrawing device and shorten a lifting stroke even in such a case the tire is lifted, and thereby, can reduce the height of the whole device. SOLUTION: This tire vulcanizing method comprises the following process steps: (1) the step (S2) for elevating a vulcanized tire T obtained by vulcanization-molding a green tire G, to an ascending position D by an upper container 30 in a tire vulcanizing position Y, (2) the step (S3) for transferring the tire taking-out device 20 to the tire vulcanizing position Y, (3) the step (S4) for lowering the upper container 30 from the ascending position D to a tire delivery position B and retaining the vulcanized tire T with the tire taking-out device 20, (4) the step (S5) for releasing the upper container in the tire delivery position B, and (5) the step (S6) for elevating the upper container from which the vulcanized tire T is released, from the tire delivery position B to a stand-by position C.
