<p>Wireless signals are used to estimate the range differences between SUDs and each of at least 3 (for 2D positioning) or at least 4 (for 3D positioning) SNAPs. From the precise locations of the SNAPs, a computing element in the system calculates the position of the SUDs based on the ranges measured.</p>
