摘要 <p>A following vehicle monitor (100) comprises a section (100a) for recognizing the image of a following vehicle by means of a rear monitor camera (500a), a section (100b) for monitoring interruption or passing by a following vehicle, and a section (100c) for judging the degree of risk of interruption or passing and informing it to the operator of its own vehicle. The following vehicle monitoring section (100b) alters the following vehicle having high degree of risk of interruption the following vehicle of passing monitoring object to an interrupted vehicle. The degree of risk judging section (100c) judges the degree of risk when a following vehicle of monitoring object passes its own vehicle based on the movement to the right/left of a following vehicle of monitoring object, relative speed to its own vehicle, distance to its own vehicle, and the like, detected at the following vehicle monitoring section (100b), and performs control of not informing the risk to the operator of its own vehicle if the degree of risk is not high.</p>
