A steering wheel and a method of manufacture thereof are provided to detect fault before the completion of product by using a transparent or semi-transparent material as a part of the steering wheel. The steering wheel of vehicle comprises: a metal frame(103) having the first area and the second part; a rim(101) including the first covered part coating the metal frame of the first area, the second covered part of built-in type and the third covered part coating the metal frame of the second part; a plurality of spokes installed at the inner side of rim; and an herb core(118) connected to the plurality of spoke and the steering shaft.
