摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a light-emitting diode element as a night-light without impairing the favorable appearance of a lighting fixture.

SOLUTION: A mounting adapter 100 is provided with a light-emitting diode element nearly at the center of a position which can be seen from below. The mounting adapter 100 is positioned nearly at the center of a lighting fixture body 200 as seen from below with the lighting fixture 800 mounted to a ceiling face 501. The lighting fixture 800 has a translucent cover 300 covering a discharge lamp 400 and the mounting adapter 100. Light emitted by the light-emitting diode element reaches the cover 300 without being interrupted by components in the lighting fixture 800 such as the discharge lamp 400 and a discharge lamp lighting device 210, and illuminates the inside of a room by being diffused by the cover 300.
