<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte primary battery whose discharge characteristics hardly deteriorate even if the battery is used in a state of on-going discharge under a high-temperature environment. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte primary battery includes a positive electrode containing a manganese dioxide, a positive electrode terminal, a negative electrode containing a lithium or lithium alloy, a negative electrode terminal, a separator, and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a cyclic sultone derivative. A packing made of a heat-resistant resin is interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The nonaqueous electrolyte contains a solvent composed of an ether and a carbonic acid ester at least containing an ethylene carbonate, and the cyclic sultone derivative composed of a 1,3-propane sultone and/or a 1,4-butane sultone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
