<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device of a brushless motor for shortening a start-up time, reducing power consumption and preventing deterioration of motor efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The driving device for a brushless motor 21 has a stator 25 having three-phase coils 25A-25C and a magnet rotor 24 provided on the stator 25. The driving device is also provided with a controller 10 for rotating the magnet rotor 24 by sequentially switching power supply to the coils 25A-25C of each phase, detecting the position of the magnet rotor 24 on the basis of an induced voltage to be generated on the coils 25A-25C of each phase and controlling the power supply to the coils 25A-25C of each phase on the basis of the detected position. The controller 10 executes initial positioning control for positioning the magnet rotor 24 at an initial position enabling the subsequent forcible driving, if power supply to the own device is interrupted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
