<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head motion tracker apparatus capable of measuring motion of a head portion of a wearing person even when the wearing person faces any directions while maintaining a wide range of a field of view of the wearing person who wears a head mounting device. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes the head mounting device 10 having a head top member 11 and a transparent face member 12, a plurality of optical markers to be mounted on the head top member 11, a plurality transparent reflection markers which are mounted on the face member 12 and reflect infrared light, a light source for radiating the infrared light, a camera device for detecting the infrared light by stereoscopic view, a marker position information calculating unit for calculating marker position information including each present position of the optical marker and/or the reflection marker based on the infrared light detected by the camera device, and a relative information calculating unit for calculating relative information including the present position and a present angle of the head mounting device 10 relating to the camera device based on the marker position information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
