<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive belt guide anchor allowing reduction of manufacturing man-hours, while further increasing the contact area with a seat belt. <P>SOLUTION: This belt guide anchor 5 is constituted by making a metal plate 5a as core metal and mounting a resin cover 5b at a prescribed portion of the metal plate 5a. The metal plate 5a has a large opening 5e and a belt sliding part 5c integrally provided at a lower end edge of the opening 5e and having an upper face as a belt sliding surface 5c<SB>1</SB>of a circular-arc surface in cross section. The belt sliding part 5c has right and left projecting circular-arc flanges 5c<SB>2</SB>. A rear face 5c<SB>3</SB>of each flange 5c<SB>2</SB>is formed into a projecting circular-arc shape upward and is located upward from a foremost end 5c<SB>5</SB>of the belt sliding surface 5c<SB>1</SB>.
