PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling-installation type fan coil unit capable of easily performing replacement of a heat exchange coil and a fan and maintenance check. SOLUTION: This ceiling-installation type fan coil unit comprises a main coil block 1 for heat exchange and a fan block 2 for air distribution. A bottom plate portion 3 of the main coil block 1 is detachable, and cut portions 5 opened at lower parts to put in and out the heat exchange coils 7, are formed on a pair of side plate portions 4, 4 of the main coil block 1. End plate portions 10 shared by the heat exchange coils 7 of various heat transfer areas are respectively disposed on one end portion at a heat source inlet/outlet 9 side of the heat exchange coil 7 and the other end portion at the opposite side. One end portion and the other end portion are invertable to close the cut portions 4 by the end plate portions 10, and the heat exchange coils 7 are detachably mounted on the main coil block 1 free from the bottom plate portion 3. One end portion at the heat source inlet/outlet 9 side of the main coil block 1 and the other end portion at the opposite side are invertable, and the fan block 2 and the main coil block 1 are detachably mounted.
