PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having an advantage of an asymmetrical tread pattern when the tire is new and capable of correcting uneven wear at a last stage of the wear. SOLUTION: A tread 12 of the pneumatic tire 10 has an asymmetrical pattern as shown in Fig.1(A) when the tire is new, and has a point symmetrical pattern with a tire equatorial plane CL as a center as shown in Fig.1(B) when the tire is worn. After the tread 12 has had the point symmetrical pattern, uneven wear is corrected by changing the direction of mounting of the tire. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
