A wound-covering device constituted by a sort of body-belt or of saddlecloth that is fixed in a number of points to the animal by means of the combined use of a plurality of soft and resistant bands and of corresponding eyelets, appropriately distributed, in such a way that the body-belt or the saddlecloth will remain stably in place for the time necessary for the wound to heal.
