摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control an engine by increasing a detection accuracy for the amount of intake air actually sucked into an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This intake device 10 is formed by connecting the first to fourth branch pipes 36a to 36d of an intake manifold 34 to first to fourth cylinder chambers 12a to 12d forming the engine 14 and connecting a throttle body 44 having a throttle valve 42 to the collecting pipe 38 of the intake manifold 34. A bypass pipe 58 is connected between the second branch pipe 36b and the third branch pipe 36c among the first to fourth branch pipes 36a to 36d. Then, the amount of the intake air sucked to the engine 14 through the second branch pipe 36b is detected by an airflow meter 66 installed in the bypass pipe 58, and the amount of the intake air sucked into the engine 14 through the third branch pipe 36c is detected by that meter.
