<p>The blade (1) has a blade base body (4) with at least one recess and/or projection (5) in or on one side in the region outside the cutter or cutters (2). This recess and/or projection is in a sector of the base body which comes into contact with the product being cut. In the case of recesses, these may be in both sides of the base body, offset sideways from each other.</p>
