A DRM(Digital Rights Management) interoperable system is provided to supply to a user efficiently a DRM interoperable environment in which different kinds of data can be interconverted. A domain manager(22) manages a domain, and first and second devices are authenticated by the domain manager and registered to the domain. If there is a data transmission request from the first and second devices, a controller collects the information as to the units which will be involved in the data transmission and controls the formation of a chain, which includes at least two units, based on the collected information. In addition, the controller controls plural kinds of data to be transmitted to the second device through the chain. |
