<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diamond recovery method and its device capable of recovering diamond by a lower energy and highly efficient method, so as to be effectively performable on a marine ship, when recovering the diamond from sea bottom sediment. <P>SOLUTION: A carrying object material including a shell and process water are carried in a crushing chamber 22 containing a crushing medium. The carrying object material is vibrated in a state of being put in the crushing chamber for a predetermined staying time.
