A direct type backlight unit is provided to simplify the manufacturing process of each parts by separating cooling plate and frame. A cooling plate(11) evaporates heated air by LED operation. A PCB type LED module is mounted on the top of the cooling plate. A reflector is adhered to the remnant side except for the direct type LED of the LED module, so that the light coming out from the LED module is reflected to the front side. An optical sheet(17), on the top of reflector, improves the efficiency of the light, and emits light to the front direction. A guide rail(31) has the optical sheet at the upper part, and cooling plate at the lower part. |
