摘要 A WDM-PON WS transmission convergence apparatus and a WS transmission convergence method thereof are provided to group plural wavelengths, form a transmission link, and transmit a signal through the transmission link when a transmission rate required to transmit user transmission signals exceeds a bandwidth in which a wavelength is provided, thereby supporting a high-speed traffic for various signals regardless of the transmission rate of a signal to transmit. A WDM-PON(Wavelength Division Multiplexing-Passive Optical Network) WS(Wavelength Superposition) transmission convergence apparatus(100) includes a WTC mapper(110), a WTC WS unit(120), and a WTC converter(130). The WTC mapper includes user transmission signals received through an MAC(Media Access Control)(200) in a preset specific frame. The WTC WS unit duplicates plural wavelengths, sets a logical channel, and transmits the frame through the set logical channel when a required transmission rate required to transmit the frame included in the WTC mapper is greater than the wavelength transmission rate of each unit wavelength. The WTC converter converts the frame received from the WTC WS unit according to the transmission property, converts a frame bypassed from the WTC WS unit or a converted frame into an optical signal with wavelength configuring the logical channel, and transmits the optical signal through a PMD(Physical Media Dependent)(300).
