An assembly for steam-power generation comprises a distributor section fixed on a piston and controlling a steam-flow between a flow-connection and at least one bypass within a sleeve/bushing section of the assembly, in which the assembly has a axially movable switch-ring between two abutment surfaces, and which controls the flow-connection. The distributor section (15) and the sleeve section (17) are made as one piece and form a strain-chain with the piston (5) and the head-ring (43) via a common strain-ring (57).
