Method and device for removing separated remnants of film bags in a film packaging device

A projection or salience removal method in which the saliences are detached in a separation-weld device and are carried downwards normal to a transportation plane for the film/foil sachet. The drive for carrying the saliences/projections downwards under the transportation plane (T) results from at least one horizontal drive roller which can swivel between the drive roller in an incoming position for the saliences and a removal position for the saliences. An independent claim is given for a device for removing saliences from foil /film sachets.
